Motivated by a desire to embrace my natural God given hair texture and be free from straightening chemicals, I began my journey of freedom in June of 2005. I became passionate about sharing this newfound freedom with others who also desired to embrace their own natural hair texture. Our goal is to empower, educate and train men and women to maintain and style their tightly textured natural hair without the use of chemicals.
Free2B Natural Hair Academy was established and incorporated in January of 2022. Since my completion of specialized training in 2007, I have dedicated myself to offering quality customer services which exceed our client’s expectations. We provide education and specialized training in natural hair care services which includes a consultation and scalp analysis. The consult and scalp analysis helps us craft an individualized plan of care for your natural hair that will start clients on a path to total satisfaction. We take pride in our focus on “whole body wellness" through holistic education and specialized training in natural hair care services.
We also offer specialized training and mentoring to other Natural Hair Care professionals seeking to enhance and expand their skills. ​ Are You Ready To Begin?

Her extensive career is marked by a commitment to excellence and a dedication to nurturing the next generation of talented stylists. Nakima's expertise extends beyond the salon, as she also serves as a relationship coach, promoting the importance of interpersonal skills and empathy in this creative field. Outside the classroom, Nakima finds joy in spending quality time with her beloved family and exploring new horizons through travel. As a true leader, Nakima understands that the beauty industry thrives when others are trained and inspired. She embraces this responsibility at Free 2 B Natural Academy, where she empowers students to not only master their craft but also to cultivate a deep sense of creativity and confidence.
